Rimage AutoPrinter II Knowledge Base
The lift arm is not positioning correctly.
- Important! Try these solutions in the order they are presented.
Update the firmware. To find the latest firmware, refer to the
Downloads tab on the Support
website. Navigate:
www.rimage.com > Support > Printers > AutoPrinter. Select the
Downloads tab. Download the latest firmware.
If you have an AutoEverest, check the mode switch. Refer to the mode switch information in
the Introduction section of the
Everest II Printer User Guide or Everest III Printer User Guide.
The mode switch on both Everest II and Everest III printers should be in position 2.
Reseat the cables.
1. Power off the AutoPrinter.
2. Disconnect all of the cables.
3. Connect all of the cables, ensuring that they are all secure.
4. Power on the AutoPrinter.
Run diagnostic test 3. Refer to the
AutoPrinter II Diagnostics document.
Your AutoPrinter II requires the attention of an authorized Rimage Repair Technician.
Contact your Rimage reseller for repair and service options.
The lift arm gets stuck in the bin or can not pick from the bin.
- Important! Try these solutions in the order they are presented.
Restart the computer and the AutoPrinter.
Be sure you are using Rimage media. For more information, see Rimage Media Kits
.

Downloads tab. Download the latest firmware.
Check alignment of the lift arm, carousel, and printer.
Refer to the Align the Lift Arm to the Carousel
document.
Refer to the Aligning the printer section of the AutoPrinter User Guide
.
Run diagnostic test 8. Refer to the
AutoPrinter II Diagnostics document.
Separate the media to ensure that the discs are not sticking together.
